33rd Annual Poujardieu Memorial honoring the Memory of Maitre Gerard Poujardieu, Sr., Louise Poujardieu and their son, Gerard, Jr.

Venue:
Jowers Gym 221 &222 on the campus of Texas State University, 700 Aquarena Springs Drive, San Marcos, TX 78666.

Times listed are the CLOSE of registration! Pools will begin AS SOON AS POSSIBLE after close - please arrive in time for gear check and warmup!

Senior Mixed Foil - 09:00 AM

FEES:
$30 registration plus $15 per event when PREREGISTERED.
$30 registration plus $30 per event when a WALK-IN. (Preregistering for one will avoid the late fee on any added events.)

Advance payment is optional but strongly encouraged. Cash or checks accepted at the door for preregistrants and walk-ins. If you would like to pay cash, exact amounts are preferred to speed check-in.

Format:
One round of pools to DEs. No cut and no repechage, no fence for third.

Awards:
Awesome ones.

Rules:
All USFA rules apply.

Current USFA membership, or membership in a national federation that is a member of the FIE, is required for all events, including Y10, Y14, and C&Under.

USFA membership available at the door. Please do NOT rejoin online after Wednesday, January 23rd, or by fax/mail after SUNDAY, January 20th. It messes things up

Foreign fencers must provide proof of membership in an FIE member federation, or purchase USFA membership at the door.

Memberships are paid directly to USFA and NOT to the Division. Please bring a separate payment for your entry fees and USFA membership.

Waiver of Liability:
Signed waivers of liability are required to fence and can be downloaded at www.SouthTexasDivision.org or as an attachment to your pre-reg confirmation email.

All those under 18 years of age must have the signature of a PARENT or GUARDIAN, NOT A COACH.

Hi all,

In the past the Southwest Section has allocated funding to support referee development beyond the initial seminar. I am hiring Kelly Koehler Johnson to referee at the 33rd Poujardieu Memorial and she has offered to give the foil seminar held at FIE Grand Prix events. It's structured to work at part of the morning meeting, and with the number of experienced people involved I think this is the best use of that time.

We would also have a discussion session the night before the event. I have hired a number of developing referees in order to improve them and think this would an excellent opportunity to raise the level of refereeing in our section.

I checked with Carolyn and verified we have plenty of money to sponsor this. I would like to request a total of $400 for her travel expense and honorarium.
