Texas State University Fencing Club is proud to announce the first ever Wild Card Open!
This tournament will be hosted on short notice to provide the opportunity for fencing and referee development in South Texas.
EVENTS:
Senior Mixed Foil Jan 31 9:00AM
Div2 Mixed Epee Jan 31 11:00AM
Senior Mixed Saber Jan 31 1:00PM
Senior Women's Foil Jan 31 3:00PM
Senior Mixed Epee Feb 1 9:00AM
Senior Women's Epee Feb 1 12:00PM
FEES:
Preregistered: $30 registration, $20 per event
At-the-door: $35 registration, $25 per event
(Preregistering for one event will avoid the late fee on any added events.)
Cash and check are accepted at the door. Exact change is appreciated!
Format:
One round of pools to DEs. No cut and no rep, no fence for third.
Current USFA membership, or membership in a national federation that is a member of the FIE, is required for all events.
USFA membership WILL BE available at the door. Please do NOT rejoin online before the tournament. Please bring a separate payment for your entry fees and USFA membership (check or card).
Waiver of Liability:
Signed waivers of liability are required to fence and can be requested via email. Contact Madison Pevey at mp1466@txstate.edu for more information.
All those under 18 years of age must have the signature of a PARENT or GUARDIAN, NOT A COACH!
Preregistration opens on 01/23/2015.
Preregistration closes on 01/30/2015 at noon.
