Forum Rules and moderators

Fencers of the Plains Texas Division, I wanted to take a moment to wlcome you to our division forum and let you know a few expectations we have here:

1. Please respect other people and there thoughts and ideas on this forum. It is ok to disagree with them or something they said just please do so in a "kind" way.

2. This is suppose to be a place to hang out and have fun. If you cannot do so (and not at the expense of others) please go somewhere else.

3. Although your Identity may be hidden we do have ways for looking into your profile and finding your e-mail and IP number and we can track you down if we have to.

4. Our moderators can delete poss and threads or move them to a more opporpiate area. Please private message them if you think something should be moved or deleted.

5. If your post come up missing and you don't know why please contact that moderator and ask them why and then let me know if you have a problem with the reason.

We hope everyone will have fun and enjoy this forum.

Please let the moderator of your area know if you see soemthing that is incorrectly placed on the discussion board so that the moderator can move it elsewhere.

WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PUT SO MANY RULES? DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY FOLLOW ALL THOSE? WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THEM?

Yes, rules are necessary. Essentially, if you stay polite, don't use bad language, and more or less stay on topic, you'll be ok.

Yes, people do follow the rules. Notice, we're all pretty civil here.

If rules are broken, I'd be willing to bet that you'll be given a warning then your name will be blocked or something like that.

I am reporting a complaint. I feel it is extreemly wrong to have Longblade as the moderator on ALL of the club areas of the board. That is pretty much a slap in the face to those of us who try to use our moderator powers responsibly. Longblade is not a member of this division and there for does not have any reason to moderate the club areas of the board. Nothing personal Kyle I just dont' feel it's right.

I disagree with getting mad about Kyle now after it has been about a month, at least, since he has been in power of the boards.

But why don't you put your money where your mouth is and recommend some people for the positions?

I, for one, am new at fencing, don't now all the rules, and don't know many attacks. HELLO, THIS IS NOT 12TH GRADE SO GO SLOW. oh................................ sorry.
