NOC #3
The National Open Circuit is a new competitive series established by the USFA Board of Directors to help expand the reliable strength of larger regional or super-regional events below the Division I NAC level both as developmental paths for athletes and to guarantee level-appropriate tournaments for those athletes not yet ready to consistently compete and succeed at the Division I level. It is made up of strong, locally run tournaments across the nation. The Poujardieu Memorial was chosen to be the third event for the new NOC based upon its historical strength and excellent tournament operations. For complete details on the NOC, see the new website: usfanoc.askfred.net. AS PART OF THIS WE CAN NO LONGER HAVE MIXED OPEN EVENTS. NOTE, TOO, THAT THE TOP 4 IN EACH EVENT WILL QUALIFY FOR DIV 1A.
The C & Under Senior Mixed Epee event is part of the Poujardieu Memorial, but not a part of the NOC#3.
